ISLAMIC NEW YEAR CELEBRATION 1437 H

STPB, October 16th - 24th, 2015 | Association of Muslim Students (IKMM) of STP Bandung, for the first time held the Islamic New Year Celebration 1437 H, which began on October 16th, 2015 and closed with a peak event on Saturday, October 24th, 2015 held at the Convention Hall STP Bandung, With the theme of "Self Improvement", the event was attended by students of STP Bandung and Akpar NHI and was expected to increase the awareness of university students either as participants and organizers, for further self quality improvement.

The Islamic New Year Celebration 1437 H featured a variety of content that certainly has many advantages, including: Halal Tourism Scientific Writing Competition, Break-Fasting: As-Shura Fasting on October 22nd-23rd, ‘Kuliah Ashar’ held every Friday, Adzan Competition, the Islamic Speech Contest and Supporters Competition.

The activity was officially opened by Mrs. Ummi Kalsum as the representative of STP Bandung Management, also attended by Mr. Wishnu Rahtomo as the Head of DKM Safiir. Some students who became the winners are, for the first winner of Azan Competition is Caca Syabanurdin (MTH 3B), the second winner is Yan Somantri (Akpar NHI), the third winner is Aditya Maulana (MDP 1). For Islamic Speech Contest, the first winner is Idah Ahmad Kamil (MTB 6B), the second winner is Angga Fraspinudji Abdian (Akpar NHI), the third winner is Vania Gharsina GNA (MBK 3). For Halal Tourism Scientific Writing Competition, the first winner is Hendra Sudrajat (MTB 6B), the second winner is Tsalitsa SH (MTH 3B), the third winner Repi Nurazmi (MDK 1B) and the Best Supporter was achieved by ADH Study Program. The event was supported by DKM As Safiir, Khalifah Tour, the IOM (Student’s Parents Association) and DOA (Donation Alumni) IKMM.
