WELCOMING RAMADHAN 1437 H

STPB, June 4th, 2016 | Association of Muslim Students (IKMM) STP Bandung held  Welcoming Ramadhan for two days (June 3rd – 4th, 2016) at STP Bandung. The event for welcoming Ramadhan 1437 H was celebrated with various activities, such as Islamic nuanced photography competition, Halal Tourism Ambassador and Bazaar.

The Islamic studies led by Ustadz Abutakeru took place at Masjid As Safir STP Bandung. Earlier, marawis group of Ustadz Syaiful Muslim enliven the opening ceremony of Welcoming Ramadan. Islamic content themed photography competition and Halal Tourism Ambassador contest held on the second day (4/6). A student from Pastry Management Study Program, Amanda Resca (21) won the first prize in the photography competition with photo themed of Al-Qur`an.

Some participants participated by performing singing, reading poetry with the theme of Islam. The Halal Tourism Ambassadors competition aims to bring about a variety of halal tourism branding that can be found in Indonesia. A form of Halal tourism such as Sofyan Hotel which offers a service package according Islamic sharia which this hotel does not sell beverages containing alcohol. In this activity, Neni Mulyani (21) semester VI student of Kitchen Management Study Program elected as the Halal Tourism Ambassador.

Welcoming Ramadhan activities have received warm welcomes from the various parties. Mr. Rachmat Syam as Deputy Director III of STP Bandung convey, this Welcoming Ramadan activity are expected to provide many benefits for all Muslim students who will sdo the fasting in Ramadan 1437 H and also able to enhance the understanding of Islam.
